We're looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our team and help build beautiful, responsive web applications. You'll work closely with our design and product teams to create exceptional user experiences.
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you'll be responsible for implementing user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Next.js. You'll collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure a seamless user experience.
This is a remote position, with occasional visits to our San Francisco office for team meetings and events. We offer flexible working hours and a competitive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript
- Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into functional components
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Work with backend engineers to integrate REST and GraphQL APIs
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge across the team
- Stay up-to-date with frontend development best practices and emerging technologies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and state management (Redux, Zustand, etc.)
- Experience with Next.js or similar React frameworks
- Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Familiarity with modern CSS practices and frameworks (Tailwind, Styled Components, etc.)
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
- Experience with server-side rendering and static site generation
- Understanding of web animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP)
